Our craft afternoon are held on the third Wednesday in every month and run from 2pm-4pm. They are hosted by members in their own homes.
The group has produced knitted and crocheted items for WOOL@J13. In 2020 we are making toys with a theme of 'Down in the Jungle' and these will be sold to raise money for a local charity. We are also working on a project to celebrate our 100 years as a WI.
On other occasions a member leads the session and everyone has a go at making the same thing. These occasions are full of concentration and hilarity, and of course there is always cake.
Sometimes they take the form of a knit and natter session where people bring their own craft activity along - not always knitting, and usually more natter than knitting. For more information please contact Laureen tel. no. 01782 791796

This was the first craft group meeting since lock down. It was lovely to be back together again and despite the chat as we caught up with the news we managed to be creative. The result was some lovely lavender bags.
